Woodland police are seeking a man who tried to lure a 12-year-old boy into his truck Tuesday evening.
Cpl. Dave Krause said the boy was standing outside Lee Middle School, 520 West St., at about 5:20 p.m. when the man pulled up next to him in a gray late-model pickup with a white sheet covering something in the truck bed.
“Do you want to know what time it is? Do you want to look in the truck? Do you want to get in the truck?” the man asked, according to Krause. He drove away when the boy refused.
The man was described as a balding Latino male with a short goatee and tattoos covering his right arm, including one of a snake wrapped around a dagger.
