A 16-year-old Davis girl was arrested early Saturday for hitting her father over the head with a wine bottle.
The two had gotten into an argument at about 6:30 a.m. in their home on the 1000 block of Mesquite Drive when the teenager punched and then struck her 55-year-old father with the bottle, according to Davis police.
The man called the police and officers arrested the girl for assault with a deadly weapon. She was booked at Yolo County Juvenile Hall in Woodland.
