A November trial date has been set in the case of a Davis man accused of molesting two fellow church members more than a decade ago.

Justin Prentice Morejohn, who turns 32 this week, has pleaded not guilty to 10 counts of lewd and lascivious acts with a child under age 14. The case is set for trial starting Nov. 4, with a trial-readiness conference on Oct. 28.

Authorities say the molests, which allegedly involved two fellow members of the Grace Valley Christian Center on County Road 98, occurred between July 1999 and December 2001 but were not reported to the Davis Police Department until August of 2011. Morejohn turned himself in on a warrant the following January.

Grace Valley officials have said none of the alleged incidents took place on church property or involved church activities. The alleged victims, now in their 20s, no longer live in Davis.

Morejohn, who was working as a California Highway Patrol officer assigned to the Capitol protection unit at the time of his arrest, remains free on a $1 million bail bond while the case is pending.
