A Vacaville man suffered broken bones and other injuries in a motorcycle crash near Davis early Sunday morning, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Officer Cindy Leal said 56-year-old Douglas L. Tuttle was traveling westbound on Interstate 80 east of Chiles Road when, for unknown reasons, he made an unsafe turning movement and struck the concrete divider shortly after 3:30 a.m. No other vehicles were involved.
The crash caused major damage to the motorcycle, and Tuttle was transported to the UC Davis Medical Center in Sacramento with injuries including a dislocated shoulder, broken arm and collapsed lung, Leal said.
