A man is facing burglary and other charges after Davis police say they caught him occupying a house that didn’t belong to him.
Billy Johnson, 29, was taken into custody Wednesday evening after the resident in the 700 block of Oeste Drive arrived home to signs that someone else had forced their way inside and was living there, Lt. Art Camacho said.
Officers encountered Johnson, who according to Camacho was in possession of numerous items believed to be taken during other burglaries.
Already on parole for a prior assault conviction, Johnson was booked into the Yolo County Jail on the new charges including burglary, receiving stolen property, vandalism, trespassing and violation of parole, Camacho said.
