Davis police are seeking a suspect who robbed a woman, possibly at knifepoint, Wednesday morning in North Davis.
According to a Davis Police Department news release, the woman was confronted at about 6:15 a.m. as she parked her car near the intersection of Anderson Road and Alvarado Avenue, where an unknown man approached her from behind “and told her not to move.”
“He reached for her ears and removed her clip-on earrings. The female shoved the suspect and received a minor injury to her arm from a sharp edged weapon, possibly a knife, held by him,” the news release said. “The suspect fled eastbound on Alvarado Avenue on foot and remains at large.”
Police described the suspect as an English-speaking male, about 5-foot-9, wearing a dark-colored hoodie. The stolen earrings were a pair of gold-colored clip-on hoops, about an inch in diameter.
