Woodland police are investigating the latest in a series of shootings, this one occurring Saturday night when two juveniles were shot at.
According to a Woodland Police Department Facebook post, the males were fired at shortly before 9 p.m. as they exited their vehicle in the 300 block of Bright Day Drive. One was struck by the gunfire and sustained non-life-threatening injuries, for which he was treated at the UC Davis Medical Center in Sacramento.
“At this time we have not been able to establish a motive for this crime and a suspect is not in custody,” the Facebook post said. Anyone with information about the shooting is asked to call the department’s crime tip line at 530-661-7850.
A reward of up to $1,000 is available for information leading to an arrest of the suspect or suspects involved, police said.
