A Davis man is facing multiple felony charges after allegedly assaulting his girlfriend and her young son Saturday night.
Lt. Art Camacho reported Tuesday that officers responded at about 10:30 p.m. to a domestic violence call on Ohlone Street, where the victim reported being strangled to unconsciousness and suffering a head injury.
A subsequent investigation revealed that sex crimes also occurred during the incident, and that the suspect had assaulted the victim’s juvenile son prior to the alleged attack, according to Camacho.
The suspect, identified as 22-year-old Marquis Dameon Turner, was booked into the Yolo County Jail on charges including domestic violence, rape, false imprisonment, assault with a deadly weapon, battery causing great bodily injury and child abuse, Camacho said.
