Davis police arrested four men from Woodland and rural Yolo County on Saturday after they allegedly burglarized a South Davis residence.
According to Lt. Art Camacho, the occupant of the residential trailer in the area of Glide Drive and El Cemonte Avenue had just left her home and witnessed the burglary from a nearby location, prompting the 8:40 p.m. call to police. She reported that the suspects appeared to be armed with a handgun and machete.
“As officers arrived on scene they encountered a dark blue Ford pickup which had been previously identified as the suspect vehicle in this case,” Camacho said. “Officers stopped the truck and detained four male suspects. Stolen property which allegedly belonged to the victim was recovered from the truck along with a replica firearm and large knives.”
All four suspects were booked into the Yolo County Jail on burglary, conspiracy and weapon charges: Wilson Sefomichel, 32, of Yolo County; and Woodland residents Ryan Andrade, 42; Rolando Ortiz, 40; and Antonio Pereida, 58.
