On Halloween, the Yolo County Probation Department conducted compliance checks on sex offenders under their supervision.
In addition to their regular terms and conditions, these supervised sex offenders were given special directives to prohibit their exposure to children engaging in Halloween activities.
During the Halloween compliance checks, all Yolo County-supervised sex offender residences within the city limits of Woodland, Davis and West Sacramento, as well as the community of Esparto, were checked to ensure they were in compliance with the Probation Department’s Halloween directives.
All were found to be in compliance with their directives and none were found to be engaging in Halloween activities with any children.
“This is just one of many enforcement activities we conduct throughout the year,” Chief Probation Officer Dan Fruchtenicht said. “I’m proud of the work our probation officers do each and every day to ensure our communities are safe.”
