Davis police are investigating the cause of a two-car collision Thursday that left both drivers with minor injuries.
It occurred shortly before 7:30 p.m. at Mace Boulevard and Second Street, where the impact pushed one of the vehicles onto its side, Lt. Art Camacho said. Both cars sustained major damage, their drivers medically treated at the scene by firefighters and ambulance personnel before being released.
“One of the drivers is suspected to have run a red light, which caused this collision,” Camacho said.
