A Davis teen reported being the victim of a strong-arm robbery last week near the Davis High School campus, police said Monday.
The victim and his friend were walking in front of the West 14th St. campus shortly after 1:30 p.m. Friday when the male suspect approached them and demanded the teen’s blue-and-white athletic shoes, according to police reports. When the victim’s friend tried to get the shoes back, the suspect shoved him to the ground and fled on foot.
Police described the suspect as an Asian male in his late teens or early 20s, about 6-foot-1 and 120 pounds, last seen wearing a UC Davis basketball T-shirt and shorts. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Davis Police Department at 530-747-5400.
