A Davis man was jailed for the second time in less than a week after allegedly robbing another man of his bike Tuesday at a northeast Davis park.
Cangleska Standingelk, 35, was one of five people arrested Feb. 21 at a suspected B Street drug house, where he and another man allegedly fled in a vehicle as officers approached the home with a search warrant.
He was a free man by Tuesday afteernoon, but only temporarily so after taking a man’s bike by force at Oak Grove Park on Donner Avenue and telling the victim he could “buy it back from him,” according to police reports. Officers spotted Standingelk at Chestnut Park several hours later and took him into custody, Lt. Glenn Glasgow said.
Standingelk was lodged at the Yolo County Jail, Glasgow said. The bike has yet to be recovered.
