Davis police arrested a Sacramento-area couple Monday on suspicion of vehicle theft.
According to Lt. Paul Doroshov, officers patrolling the Target shopping center on Second Street discovered the alleged theft after making contact with a woman in a parked vehicle at about 9:40 a.m.
“Further investigation revealed the vehicle was stolen. Officers subsequently located the suspected driver of the vehicle. Based on the initial investigation, both suspects were arrested and booked into the Yolo County Jail on stolen vehicle charges,” Doroshov said.
Doroshov identified the suspects as Ilya Suprun, 32, of Sacramento and Viktoriya Donskikh, 31, of Citrus Heights.
