Davis police reported Tuesday the arrests of two people reportedly found with stolen property inside a stolen car.
Lt. Paul Doroshov said officers stopped the pair’s car, an Acura, at about 1:20 a.m. Friday after observing traffic violations in the area of Interstate 80 and Richards Boulevard. He identified the driver as Anthony Rodrigo Perez, 48, of Sacramento, and the passenger as 31-year-old Antoinette Morgan Florez of Vacaville.
“While conducting the vehicle stop, the officers determined that Perez had an active arrest warrant from another county and the Acura had been reported stolen from Vallejo,” Doroshov said. “A subsequent search of the vehicle revealed suspected stolen property consisting of various small personal items.”
Perez was booked into the Yolo County Jail for possessing a stolen vehicle and stolen property as well as the warrant, while Florez was released on a citation for possession of stolen property, Doroshov said.
