WOODLAND — A Sacramento man accused of exposing himself to women in Davis has resolved his Yolo Superior Court case.
Darren Dade Dockter Jr., 25, pleaded no contest last week to a single felony count of indecent exposure, for which he’ll be sentenced on Jan. 17 to 16 months in state prison, according to the Yolo County District Attorney’s Office.
A second charge was dismissed in exchange for the plea.
Davis police began investigating the case back in November 2016, when officers began receiving multiple reports of a man driving through the downtown area, exposing himself while masturbating in his car, Lt. Paul Doroshov said.
“On some occasions, the suspect pulled up to female victims and masturbated in front of them,” Doroshov said.
Investigative leads led detectives to Dockter, who was arrested in early January at the Roseville car dealership where he worked.
At the time, Doroshov said police had identified two confirmed victims but believe as many as 15 to 20 unreported incidents may have occurred in the Davis area.
