Davis police arrested a 50-year-old man Saturday night in connection with a downtown robbery.
Deputy Police Chief Ton Phan said officers were dispatched shortly before 9 p.m. to a business in the 100 block of B Street, where an employee reported being robbed by a man who pulled what appeared to be a handgun out of his waistband.
According to Phan, the suspect took two paper bags from behind the front counter and fled, but later was found inside a parked vehicle at Third and C streets, along with two replica handguns and a methamphetamine pipe. The victim identified him as the man who robbed him.
Paul Christopher Delgado, a Davis resident, was booked into the Yolo County Jail on suspicion of robbery, brandishing a firearm replica and possession of drug paraphernalia, Phan said.
