A body found in a vehicle Saturday in rural Yolo County appears to be a case of suicide, Yolo sheriff’s officials said Tuesday.
Sgt. Matt Davis said deputies responded at about 7:30 a.m. to investigate reports of an unresponsive female discovered inside a vehicle parked in an orchard near County Roads 99W and 91B, between the towns of Dunnigan and Zamora. The woman was pronounced dead at the scene.
Coroner’s officials have identified the woman as a 51-year-old Corning resident. An autopsy was planned to determine her cause and manner of death, Davis said.
