Woodland police are on the lookout for two suspects who allegedly stole prescription narcotics Friday afternoon from a Walgreens pharmacy.
Corporal Greg Elliot said police received multiple reports that two men had jumped over the pharmacy counter at the store, 10 W. Main St., shortly after 3 p.m., ordered staff to unlock a cabinet containing prescription drugs and stole several bottles of pills. They then fled the store on foot, heading eastbound on Court Street.
The suspects were described only as African-American males wearing hooded sweaters. Witnesses reported that the suspects entered an older-model white Cadillac parked near Court Street and drove away. No weapons were used in the theft and nobody was hurt, Elliott said.
