The Solano California Highway Patrol is investigating a hit-and-run collision southwest of Winters that injured a bicyclist Sunday morning.
According to a news release, 49-year-old Linda M. Bagley of San Francisco was biking southbound on Pleasants Valley Road south of Quail Canyon Road at about 11:20 a.m. when a truck, also southbound, failed to safely pass her.
The right side of the truck hit Bagley, who was thrown from her bicycle and sustained moderate injuries to her face and head, the CHP reported. She was transported to Vaca Valley Hospital for treatment.
The suspect vehicle is described as a white full-sized pickup pulling a 20- to 25-foot white travel trailer. Anyone with information about this incident is urged to call CHP Officer Blencow at 707-428-2100.
