The Davis Police Department’s Special Assignment and Focused Enforcement (SAFE) Team reported Saturday the arrest of a Sacramento man last week on drug and weapon charges.
Alexander Urias was detained Wednesday in the parking lot of McDonald’s on Chiles Road, where a subsequent search of the vehicle revealed more than 31 grams of heroin, methamphetamine, various items associated with narcotics trafficking, and a stolen 9mm handgun, according to Lt. Paul Doroshov.
Officers also found items taken in a residential burglary in Yolo County earlier that day, Doroshov said. Urias, 27, lodged at the Yolo County Jail.
