UC Davis police are investigating an alleged assault with a vehicle that occurred during Tuesday’s Teamsters strike on campus.
Police received a report at 10:50 a.m. that a Teamsters representative was standing in the street near Howard Way and Russell Boulevard “and a car nudged her until she left the street,” campus spokesman Andy Fell said. The woman declined medical treatment.
According to Fell, the incident did not appear to be an accident. Police obtained the car’s license plate number and planned to contact the driver. No arrests were reported as of Thursday evening.
