Davis police are seeking a man who attempted to rob a convenience store clerk at gunpoint early Tuesday morning.
Lt. Tom Waltz said the suspect entered the AM/PM market, 333 Mace Blvd., at about 2 a.m. and demanded money from the clerk while pointing a handgun at him. The clerk refused, however, and the suspect fled northbound on foot.
No injuries were reported.
Waltz described the suspect as a white male in his 20s, 5-foot-8 to 5-foot-10, about 140 pounds, with a pale complexion, brown eyes and short hair of unknown color. He was last seen wearing a black mask over his mouth and nose, dark-colored jeans, a long red undershirt, black fleece jacket, gloves and a dark-colored backpack.
Anyone with information about this incident is asked to call the Davis Police Department at 530-747-5400.
