A man was hospitalized early Monday morning after being struck by a car on the Richards Boulevard overpass, according to Davis police and fire officials.
The man was either riding or walking his bike across the overpass at about 4:40 a.m. when the car hit him. The driver stopped following the collision.
Fire officials said the man was transported to the UC Davis Medical Center in Sacramento for treatment of a cut to his forehead, but he was conscious and talking to first responders at the scene.
