A Woodland man is behind bars facing gun and drug charges following an investigation and arrest by the Yolo County Narcotics Enforcement Team on Friday.
After receiving information about drug trafficking earlier this month, the YONET team and Woodland police detectives conducted a search of a motel room in Sacramento and a storage locker in Woodland on Friday, finding 12 firearms and a quantity of methamphetamine, according to a news release from the Davis Police Department.
Zachary Hicks, 31, was arrested for being a felon in possession of a firearm, possession of methamphetamine with the intent to distribute, being armed in the commission of a felony and violating his probation. He was booked at the Yolo County Jail on Friday.
