UC Davis police issued a crime alert Sunday regarding a rape attempt that occurred on campus.
According to reports, the alleged victim and suspect were walking together in the 1000 block of Orchard Road at about 1:25 a.m. Sunday when the suspect attempted to forcibly assault the woman. She sought help from others, and the suspect fled toward The Colleges.
No arrests had been announced as of Monday. The suspect was described as a “possible” white male adult in his early 20s with short blond hair, last seen wearing a white sleeveless T-shirt or tank top and unknown color shorts.
