The Cold Fire burning west of Winters saw little growth Thursday, standing at about 4,700 acres as fire crews gained 15-percent containment of the wildland blaze, Cal Fire officials reported.
About 900 personnel remain assigned to the fire, located off Highway 128 west of Pleasants Valley Road.
“Crews continue to construct and improve containment lines,” Cal Fire reported on its incident website, last updated at 7:45 p.m. Thursday.
No injuries have been reported or structures lost. An evacuation order for the Golden Bear Estates was lifted at 8 a.m. Thursday, though the Canyon Creek campground remains closed.
Highway 128 remains shut down between Pleasants Valley Road and Markley Cove.
