UC Davis police issued a crime alert this week regarding an act of vandalism that is being investigated as a hate crime.
Sometime between 10:30 a.m. and 4 p.m. Wednesday, a vehicle parked in the south entry parking structure on Hilgard Lane was spray-painted with a slur directed at the lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, intersex and asexual community, campus spokesman Andy Fell said.
No suspects have been identified. Anyone with information about this crime is asked to call the UC Davis Police Department at 530-754-COPS (2677).
