Davis police arrested a 31-year-old woman Friday morning after reportedly finding her with a minivan full of stolen property.
Sgt. Dan Powell said officers received several calls at about 7:15 a.m. of a man and woman checking door handles in West Davis. They found a woman matching the female’s description driving a minivan near Arroyo Park and arrested her on suspicion of driving under the influence of drugs.
Cassi Bowerman, a transient out of Vacaville, told officers her boyfriend had stolen property and put it in the minivan, Powell said. She faces an additional charge of receiving stolen property, and her boyfriend remains at large.
