A series of drunken disputes downtown led to the arrest of Heather Padilla, 28, and her sister Tiffany Padilla, 26, around 1 a.m. Saturday morning.
Heather Padilla was pulled over by police and arrested for driving under the influence, providing officers with an excuse that she was only driving to flee from her boyfriend whom she was recently fighting with, said Sgt. Dan Powell.
Upon learning that her sister was arrested with a DUI, Powell said Tiffany Padilla attacked the boyfriend in full view of the police, and was arrested for assault. The boyfriend did not require medical attention and both women were lodged in the Yolo County Jail.
