Davis police are seeking the public’s help in tracking down a suspect in a sexual assault attempt last month.

Brandon Allan Clark, 32, faces multiple felony charges in connection with the Nov. 21 incident, in which he allegedly tried to assault a 30-year-old woman at an Olive Drive storage unit he was using as a residence at the time, Lt. Paul Doroshov said.

Doroshov said Clark met the woman earlier that day and took her to the storage facility, where he pushed her down, told her he would sexually assault her and threatened to kill her. She was able to fight Clark off and flee the area.

Police have since obtained an arrest warrant for Clark charging him with assault with intent to commit rape, false imprisonment, criminal threats, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and probation violations.

Doroshov said the weapon charge stems from a bolt action rifle that was found during a search of the storage unit, but noted that the firearm was not used during the alleged sexual assault attempt.

Yolo Superior Court records show Clark has previously faced charges for assault, possession of stolen property and drug-related violations.

Anyone with information about Clark’s whereabouts is asked to contact the Davis Police Department at 530-747-5400.
